Does the Gifted Program Further Educational Disparity?

The gifted program is disproportionately comprised of more white students
than students of color, relative to GCPS’ total demographic figures.
This means that most students of color do not have access to lower student
to teacher ratios or rigorous coursework. Hear from a student who participated

Parent Leadership Institute (PLI)
The materials in this section were developed by the participants of Parent Leadership Institute (PLI). PLI is an innovative project of Gwinnett SToPP that pairs grassroots leadership training with school advocacy training.
